Dia Sweater
This project was an opportunity to develop my fabric piecing skills and to put to use fabric remnants that might otherwise be considered waste. Inspired by this pattern, I collected small pieces of colour-coordinated fabric from the roll-end bins of local fabric shops and a Vancouver-based waste fabric salvaging company.
I used the Dia Kids Sweater pattern by Misusu Patterns and made a version with a pieced bodice, pieced diamond, and high-low bottom band.
