This set of duffels was a first foray into bag-making. Many of the techniques are similar to garment sewing but the fabrics tend to be heavier - 10 oz. Cotton canvas in this case. Having a new, heavy-duty machine eased the process.

I used the Overnighter Bag pattern. From Purl Soho and slightly modified the pattern to give the bags more volume. Even so, each bag took less than 1 meter of material to construct.
