This project certainly falls under the category of “Pinterest-inspired,” and I make no apologies for that.

I had never felt a strong interest in cross-stitching until I stumbled upon images of large-scale stitching projects, deploying chunky yarn onto unconventional, large-scale substrates such as chain-link fences, mesh screens, and pegboard panels.

With the help of an online cross-stitch pattern generator, I designed a floral diptych that now hangs in my home entrance.
